Name: Pumpkin Age: DOB July 2020 Breed: Catahoula Mix, 55 pounds Sex: Female (spayed) Location: New Castle County, Delaware Pumpkin needs a home where she can thrive. Vet Info: Pumpkin is not current with her vaccinations nor does she have a current heartworm test. She is microchipped and spayed. Pumpkin is a double merle, microphthalmic eyes and possibly hearing impaired. Dog Info: Pumpkin is an indoor dog who is crated, she is housebroken and leash trained. She knows the commands: sit, lay down, give me paw, outside and hungry. She is a nervous and shy girl that is good with men, women and teenagers. Pumpkin should not live with small children or female dogs. Pumpkin previously lived with two male dogs and one female. The female and Pumpkin did not do well together - Pumpkin was not the aggressor. Pumpkin generally does well with male dogs but currently is living with a high energy dog that constantly wants to play and does not read her cues. Pumpkin has snapped and bit him. She would do better with a low energy male. Small children should not be with Pumpkin and the owner has a toddler and is having another baby soon.
