About Parker

Adoption Fee: $550
Black and Tan Coonhound / German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Parker made it to Wisconsin and is now safe in a foster home in Cedarburg, WI thanks to Mutt Life Dog Rescue - and he is doing really well! Parker is a 6-7-month-old hound/shepherd mix who was heartbreakingly dumped at a state park by his previous owner and ended up in an Arkansas shelter through no fault of his own. Thankfully, that chapter is behind him, and he's now getting the fresh start he deserves. Since arriving in foster care, Parker has been thriving. He is doing well with potty training and crate training and continues to make great progress each day. He's dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and has the playful, goofy personality you'd expect from a young pup. He loves to play, explore, and be part of the action. Parker can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. With continued exposure and positive experiences, his confidence will only continue to grow. He's a sweet, affectionate boy who just needed a chance to feel secure. He would do wonderfully in a home ready to continue guiding him through puppyhood with patience, structure, and lots of love. Parker is well on his way to becoming an amazing lifelong companion.
