About Willoughby

Wonderful chow chow that we love dearly needs to be rehomed due to mounting behavioural issues with our 2 toddlers. She is an incredible dog that is generally (85% of the time) the most cuddly, loveable, sweet Chow Chow. But the one behavioral issue that is causing our need to rehome her is that despite being 4YO, she continues to get the zoomies multiple times a day, and her zoomies turn into over-excitedness with jumping and biting. To her the bite is playful, but to the recipient, especially a child, it is painful/dangerous. And she is a chow so telling her no, or to stop, is of little to no consequence to her. At this point we can't have her off leash near our children which is just not fair to her. She will make a wonderful dog for the right person or family with older children. She is AKC and I can transfer papers upon request. Has had pet insurance with no lapse since birth. We love her dearly, but we have to rehome her for the safety of our children.
