Name: Grundy Age: DOB 8/3/21 Breed: Plott Hound, 55 pounds Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Montour County, Pennsylvania Grundy needs a home with blind dog tolerant dogs. He's very sweet but the owner's dogs are not tolerant of him. Vet Info: Grundy is current with his vaccinations and HW-. Cause of blindness is unknown but possibly caused by past seizures. He is microchipped and neutered. He does take medication 2x/day to prevent seizures. Dog Info: Grundy is a very sweet boy that currently lives with three smaller dogs (Corgi, Pit Mix, Border Collie Mix) that are not tolerant of him bumping into or stepping on them. Owner recently had a baby and owners are concerned he may unintentionally hurt her by stepping on her or bumping into her once she starts crawling and walking. But, he is super friendly towards people, dogs, kids (over the age of 5) and cats. Owner describes him as not having a mean bone in his body. Grundy gets very excited in public and will communicate that by barking. He is not completely comfortable in the car and will bark and whine the whole way to the vet but going back home, he settles down. He is an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. He is housebroken but not leash trained. He is not possessive with treats, toys or food and has never shown any aggression. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
