About Max

We have had Max since he was four months old. For the most part he is the perfect dog. Completely housebroken, very lovable and playful and protects the home. We have two kids aged 12 and 10. 99% of the time, he is safe to be around kids and even plays and cuddles with them. However, we have had two instances recently that have caused us to want to rehome him due to his unpredictability. He has triggers where he becomes aggressive. If he perceives a threat he will attack. He has tried to bite over bones and food. He gets along with almost all dogs but if another dog growls or becomes aggressive he will try to attack them. We have two cats and he gets along fine with no issues. He is a great dog for an adult only home. The adoption fee is waived if we find him a home that will love him as we do. If seriously interested, I can get into more details but please understand we did not make this decision lightly as he has been in a loving home for over the past year.
