Bella is a wonderful, sweet, and playful dog who loves attention, pets, long walks, and patrolling her yard chasing birds and squirrels. She is VERY affectionate and adores our three children. The issue that is causing us to find Bella a new home is that she has recently started to not get along with our other dog, a very docile and submissive Golden Retriever. We do not want to risk our children being nearby if the two dogs end up fighting and risk injury to our kids. Bella has never displayed aggression towards other dogs before, but she is very protective of our children and it may have been jealousy that has caused her to begin acting this way. In all of my 47 years of age, Bella is the sweetest dog that I have ever owned. She is loyal, loving, and always up for fun. She would be the perfect dog for a family in which she is the only dog in the house. We have had 3 cats live with Bella during her time with us and she has gotten along with them great. Occasional playful chasing, but then they would snuggle together in her dog bed. She is currently staying with my 80 year old mother. My mother is having a hard time taking care of her at her age. My wife and I want to find Bella a great home with a family who will spoil and lover her. She really is the sweetest dog, but she needs to be in a one dog household. We love her so much, and it is hurting our family so deeply knowing that we cannot keep her.
