About Nina

Nina is a 3 year old Maltese. She is 9 lbs of pure sweetness. She was never socialized and takes her a bit to warm up. She is with a Sarasota foster who has been working with her to gain her trust. Nina does not have a mean bone in her body and she is very smart. She is food motivated and coming out of her shell slowly. If you would like to adopt her, we are looking for a quiet house and someone with an abundance of patience and understanding. She is afraid of everything and a flight risk. Adopters should have at least one other dog and a secure fenced in yard. No children unless they are older and mature. A calm home with little to no traffic would be perfect for her with maybe a young retiree or work from home mom.
