About JEAN

Jean was tied to a pole outside of a veterinary office�'�| and left there. ���� No explanation. No goodbye. No one coming back for her. Jean is deaf, so she couldn't hear the traffic, the voices, or the help that might have been nearby. She only knew she was alone. And yet, despite that heartbreaking beginning, Jean is still incredibly gentle, loving, and hopeful. She is about 6 years old, a medium-large mixed breed, and one of those dogs who quietly breaks your heart. She doesn't demand attention - she leans into it. She craves affection, soft words she can't hear but can feel, and a safe place where she finally belongs. Jean walks beautifully on leash and follows your lead with trust. She's eager to please, loves treats, and finds joy in simple things like playing fetch. She's done well with other dogs at the shelter and welcomes companionship. She is wonderful with people and forms bonds through kindness and patience. This sweet girl has already been abandoned once. She shouldn't have to wait any longer to know what it feels like to be truly loved.
