About OZZY

OZZY is an 19-month-old, 5-pound Pomeranian with a beautiful coat. He came to us as an owner surrender and is a loving, playful little guy who will be best in a home where he can stay close to his person and have a small canine companion to share life with. OZZY is a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable he is incredibly loving, playful, and affectionate. He enjoys being close to his person and is happiest when sitting together in a chair, soaking up attention. He loves kisses, snuggles, and often falls asleep right in his foster's arms. He may not always come when called, but if you sit down, he's right there with you. He is a very sweet, happy little boy who will be a wonderful companion for the right home. OZZY does best with other dogs and will need another small dog in the home to play with and help keep him confident and engaged. He is playful and enjoys the companionship of his foster's Pomeranian, with whom he shares his space comfortably. We do not know how he would do with cats or young children, but a calm home would likely suit him best. OZZY does well on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. He uses potty pads and has been doing well with that routine. At night, he sleeps in the kitchen alongside his foster family's Pomeranian and settles nicely at night. OZZY is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, had had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
