About Princess

Looking for a good home as we have two dogs, one that has attacked Princess three times, necessitating that Princess stay in our guest bedroom behind a gate. We travel for 10-14 days at the time, which leaves Princess in the house alone (my daughter and granddaughter look in on her often). She is not a cuddly cat but always liked being near me before the dogs. She loves daily combings and will ask for them loudly. The times she was attacked was when she was near me outside the bedroom without my knowledge, or the gate was left open, and the dogs were let into the same area. She does not like others and will growl, hiss and use her claws when frightened. She has good bathroom habits and only likes dry cat food. I will only let her go to a home that understands reactive cats and will take her back if it does not work out. She was around another kitten when my daughter lived with me 5-6 years ago and did not attack the kitten even though she did not like another cat in the house. Princess is an indoor cat only for the past 5 years. Before that, she went in and out a cat door but preferred indoors.
