Black & Tan. Tail is NOT cropped. American Breed Doberman. Not good with small children, cats or LOUD people. He is a COMPANION DOG !!! He will go everywhere with you, in your car or truck, sleep in bed with you, lay at your feet while you're on the computer or watching television. I will NOT allow him to go to a home where he will be in a crate. He has to be the ONLY pet in the house. He needs a TALL fenced-in yard. He IS housebroken, so you should have a doggie-door so he can let himself go outside to the fenced-in yard to use the bathroom. He is very protective when he is inside his house. But when he goes for a ride in your vehicle he will lick everyone's face if you roll the window HALFWAY down. If you open a door to your house where there isn't a fence he WILL run away !!! So you have to be careful to contain him AT ALL TIMES !!! I've had him since the day he was weaned and he's like my child. But I'm 73 years old now and he needs a much younger person to take him on long walks so he can get his much needed exercise. This breaks my heart to find him a new loving home but I MUST do what's best for him.
