About Blue

Ten months old, our Blue is a full-time goofball and part-time Husky. He recently found his way to us after his owner made the hard decision to surrender him to a local animal shelter when he could no longer care for him. Blue didn't get the memo that his life changed-he's still operating at maximum joy. This boy is friendly with everyone, the kind of dog who assumes strangers are just friends he hasn't met yet. He's outgoing, affectionate, and endlessly curious about the world and everything in it (including what's in your hands, pockets, and fridge). Blue is high energy and 100% typical young Husky, which means: Olympic-level zoomies, expressive opinions and a playful sense of humor. Anyone who loves a Husky needs to bring their A-game to the party. Blue is smart, active, busy, and hilarious - but he's not a 'set it and forget it' kind of dog. He needs regular exercise, mental stimulation, structure, and a human who understands that Huskies are a lifestyle, not just a look.
