Meet Latke ��%90%BE - A Sweet, Snuggly Standard Poodle Looking for Her Perfect Match Latke is a beautiful 1.5-year-old spayed Standard Poodle, weighing about 55 lbs, with a heart full of love and devotion for her person. Latke is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She truly thrives on human companionship and just wants to be near you-ideally snuggled up right by your side. She's fun, energetic, and engaging, yet calm and well-mannered in the home. Latke's highlights: Fully housebroken Crate trained Very quiet (not a big barker) Loving, loyal, and affectionate Enjoys activity but settles beautifully What Latke needs: Latke must be an only dog. While she may do okay initially with other dogs, over time her jealousy escalates and can become unsafe. Because of this, she would do best in a home without other dogs, no cats, and no children. Latke is being rehomed through no fault of her own. She was adopted into a loving home that already had another dog, and after six months, it became clear that, despite everyone's best efforts, she could not safely coexist with another dog. The decision to find her a new home was made purely in Latke's best interest. She is truly a people dog-devoted, affectionate, and happiest when she's someone's one and only. My biggest addiction is empathy, and it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago. I actually had surgery September 4th, 2024, and was in the hospital for 2 months due to complications and infections and again recently 2 days before this past Thanksgiving. When they came to me for help to find Latke the home that she needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, and it was important to me that she was carefully and properly placed. My goal is to make sure Latke finds a final forever loving home. If you are in a home, please privacy fences only...no chainlink/see through fences. My goal is to make sure I get Latke the home that she needs and deserves with someone who will love her and give her all the care and attention and affection that she deserves for the rest of her life and be able to be committed to her physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. I have made the commitment to Latke to make sure I find her the opportunity to find the right home she needs and deserves.
