About LILA

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Lila was brought back to the MACC after the loss of her owner. She is shy and a little nervous in her new surroundings, often retreating or needing time to settle in her kennel. She can walk calmly on leash, pass people and dogs without worry, and enjoys gentle pets when given space. This sweet girl is ready to find a loving forever home. Could that home be with you? During her previous stay in care Lila was observed to be highly fearful. Unfortunately, Lila's owner has passed away and she has returned to the care center. While in care Lila has been observed to be highly fearful. We have noted Lila to have a tense low body and tucked tail. Lila has been seen having a tense trembling body and whale eye. Recently, Lila has been observed to vocalize while in kennel unable to settle. Medically, Lila is apparently healthy. . Lila is overstressed in the shelter environment as most dogs area; she just cannot handle this environment. Don't let her die because she is scared
