About Herman

Meet Herman the miracle dog! He is a 1-2 year old PBGV mix who had a very rough early life. This adorable boy came in with a broken femur and had no use of his rear legs at all. His leg was splinted and we bought him a wheelchair that he used. We noticed that he was beginning to move and use his rear legs so we started swim therapy to help him gain strength without having to bear weight. Lo and behold he healed all up and is now able to walk and run like a normal dog! What an amazing outcome for this adorable boy! Herman is great with other dogs and cats, and is a little slow to trust new people but who can blame him for all he has been through? He is crate trained and mostly house trained and he really needs a home that will give him the best life. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Adoption fee and contract required.
