Sweet girl who was obviously a working dog. Well- trained. Rescued from the woods, covered in ticks and very thin. Was not chipped and no-one claimed. Shelter mistakenly thought she was 10 tears old and dumped by owner. Per vet, she is actually between 7 and 8. I am not equipped to handle a working dog of this age. I am disabled. She needs an active owner with a large fenced yard where she can run and explore. DNA testing shows she is 89% American Foxhound,5% Treeing Walker Coonhound,4% Beagle, and 2% Bluetick Coonhound. She is loving and gentle, loves children, and gets along with cats and dogs. She particularly likes men and children, and I suspect she was separated from a family who she still misses very much. I am not enough for this sweet girl. If your family is looking for that perfect family pet who is eager to please and loves to get in the car for a drive or go to the park, and already knows some great commands, Ladybird is your gal! Please consider giving her the family she deserves.
