Pokey is 4 and has been on our farm to be a livestock guardian dog. He loves his sheep, but a bit too much. He's been separate from them in order to get him to stop chasing and playing with them like dogs. Training this into him has not been working. He recently broke in and injured one of the sheep so cannot stay on our farm. We have kids and he loves our family. He's a drooly big boy and does need to be brushed. He's crate trained and loves his people. Our kids are young and he's great with them but we would never allow the kids to do anything mean to him and wouldn't want to send him to a family that didnt understand he's a huge boy (120 lbs) and should not have to take mistreatment from anyone, kids included.
