Chester is a 1-year-old neutered male (about 45 lbs), pit bull-type mix with a big blocky head, soulful eyes, and an even bigger personality. Don't let his serious look fool you! Chester is a friendly, social, and affectionate young dog who assumes everyone he meets is already his friend. He's playful, people-oriented, and loves attention, praise, and being part of whatever is going on. He does great with other dogs, enjoys meeting new people, and settles nicely once the initial excitement wears off. Indoors, he's happiest hanging out close to his humans like a goofy little shadow. Highlights: Extremely friendly and social Great with other dogs Affectionate and people-focused Playful, silly, and expressive Generally calm indoors after activity Chester is still a young dog and learning some manners; he may chew soft items if bored and gets excited on leash at first. But he is very responsive, manageable, and improving with routine and guidance. He would do best in a home that enjoys an affectionate, social dog who wants to be involved in daily life. Likely best in a cat-free home. ҩ Currently in foster home. Available for meet-and-greets - contact Beaumont Animal Care to schedule.
