Meet Max - a gentle soul who's been through far more than he ever deserved %9D%A4%8F Max is a 3'year'old, 55'lb sweetheart with a heart so big it almost spills out of him. He's the perfect blend of laid'back and playful: a mellow, easygoing boy who loves to lounge, cuddle, and soak up every bit of affection'| yet he still lights up when you hand him a toy or invite him to play. He's low'maintenance, loving, and endlessly grateful for every kind moment he's given. Max's story is a heartbreaking one. He was surrendered to the shelter to be euthanized - not because he did anything wrong, but simply because his previous owners could no longer care for him. Through all of that confusion and fear, Max never stopped being gentle. Never stopped being sweet. Never stopped offering love to anyone willing to give him a chance. He's been nothing but a total love bug since the moment he arrived. This boy deserves a soft place to land. A family who will cherish him, include him, and let him finally feel safe. Max would be the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal friend to curl up with on cold days, relax with on quiet evenings, and still enjoy a little playtime here and there. He adores his toys, loves being near his people, and has a warmth about him that fills a home. Max has a huge heart - one that's been waiting far too long for someone to hold it gently. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who will love you with everything he has, Max is ready. He just needs someone to choose him.
