MEET RICK - OUR GENTLE SENIOR LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER RETIREMENT HOME Rick's journey hasn't been the easiest. After coming up from the South, he found himself at animal control here in Connecticut when his previous family could no longer care for him. Despite all the change and uncertainty, Rick has remained the same loving, loyal soul he's always been. This sweet senior boy is ready for a peaceful, comfortable retirement home where he can finally exhale. Rick dreams of soft couches, sunny afternoons spent lounging outside, and simply being by your side as the warm weather rolls in. He enjoys leisurely walks, relaxing car rides, and soaking up all the gentle affection you're willing to give. Rick loves people of all ages, though we're recommending older kids so he can enjoy a calm, predictable environment. He's a polite treat'taker, a mellow companion, and a dog who truly just wants to be loved. The only thing he asks is a home without cats, as they're not his favorite roommates. If you have a heart for senior dogs and want a loyal companion who's happiest just chilling with his family, Rick may be your perfect match. He's ready to spend his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and love. Ϭ Apply for Rick today and give this deserving boy the peaceful forever home he's been waiting for. Ϭ If interested in Rick, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at [email protected].
