Meet Travis - an 8-10-year-old Golden Retriever mix with the kindest soul you'll ever encounter. And yet�'�| he has been waiting for a home for nearly TWO YEARS. Two years of watching other dogs get adopted. Two years of hoping today might be his day. Two years of being overlooked - simply because he's older. Travis' story Travis came to us from a hoarding situation. Despite everything he's been through, he is gentle, affectionate, and deeply loving. He doesn't ask for much - just a soft place to lay, a human nearby, and a heart willing to love a senior dog. ���� So why hasn't he been adopted? 2 meet/ greets failed because he was too old ���� Because Travis is a senior. Because he wants companionship. Because he doesn't do well being crated after spending too much of his life confined. That's it. Not because he's aggressive. Not because he's difficult. Not because he's 'high maintenance.'
