About olive

Olive is approximately 3 months old, weighs 15.5 pounds, and stands about 13.25 inches at the shoulder. I just sent off a DNA test for her, the vet says she is a jack Russel blend, I have started her puppy boosters etc, She's very much in her happy, playful puppy stage and soaking up the world around her! Olive is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She quickly figures out where doors are, is doing great with house training, and doesn't have accidents in her crate. She will alert you when she needs to go outside (you just have to be quick - she is still a puppy!). She sleeps in her crate 6-7 hours at night and also crates well when her foster leaves the house or when she needs a nap. She'll even go into her crate on her own when she wants quiet time and will happily carry her toys in and out. She absolutely loves other dogs of all sizes and enjoys tug-of-war, fetch, and playtime with both people and pups. Olive is currently working on leash training and will grow into a wonderful walking partner. Because her paws are still soft and she's young, shorter walks on cool ground are best for now. Her foster routine includes three smaller meals a day (she's a quick eater!), lots of outdoor potty breaks, play sessions, and nap time in her crate. She's still learning quiet cuddle time, but she is making progress every day. As with any puppy, supervision is important - she's teething and will chew, so plenty of toys are a must! With continued structure, patience, and love, Olive will grow into an amazing companion.
