About Shade

'Shade is single and ready to mingle. Truthfully, he cannot wait to be your shadow. He's a lovable guy who wants to be wherever you are - leaning against you, across your lap, or lying on/near your feet. This sweet boy is smart and has brains to match his beauty. He is learning more every day that the world is not such a scary place. We suspect Shade might be an Australian Shepherd/Blue Lacy mix. He is very playful and eager to please. In just a week, Shade is already getting the hang of, 'Sit,' 'Drop,' 'Crate,' 'Wait,' 'Get out,' which is a polite way for us humans to ask for some space, and is making good progress on his recall. Shade thinks toys, treats, people, dogs, walks and car rides are the BEST. If you're looking for a cuddly companion who would love to work for you, Shade is might just be the guy for you.'
