About MAX

Max is a sweet male poodle mix (Likely a Shih-poo mix is best guess), weighing approximately 10 pounds. He can be a little shy at first, but once he knows he's safe, Max blossoms into a true cuddle bug who simply wants to be close to his person. If you love affectionate dogs who form deep bonds, Max will steal your heart. Max can be anxious and would thrive in a calm, patient home where he's given time to settle. He also has a playful, intelligent side and loves standing on his back legs-so fun, size-appropriate training and obedience tricks would be a fantastic outlet for him. Activities like weaving through legs, spinning, rolling over, or jumping on command help build his confidence. Clicker training and treats would be especially beneficial for his success. Daily walks are important for Max to help burn off energy and keep his anxiety in check. A consistent routine of walks, mental stimulation, and training will help him feel balanced and secure. Max was previously fed using a feeder, and we are transitioning him to scheduled mealtimes. He will need a consistent potty schedule and will use potty pads if left alone for extended periods. At night, Max is currently crate training and does wonderfully-once the lights go out, he doesn't make a peep. Like most poodle mixes, Max will require regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best.
