About Luna

Adoption Fee: $100.00
Border Collie / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Luna needs a new home because: -she is struggling with territorial aggression and there are young kids in her current home She would do best in a home: -without kids- this is a requirement so that we can really help Luna thrive -with or without another dog- Luna lives with other dogs and has limited interaction with dogs outside of the immediate family. She does fine with those other dogs aside from some food possession issues, which can be addressed by feeding her separately from other dogs in the home. -with or without a cat- Luna lives with cats and while she likes to chase them, she never tries to hurt them (she just finds it fun.... but many cats won't!) -with a person or people that understand her territorial aggression and are willing to make changes to ensure she can thrive within their home -she is crate-trained -she is house-trained -she is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines and has a clean bill of health (she was recently seen by a vet) -she does well listening to commands and getting redirection Luna loves: -fetch and she will retrieve and bring you back the ball over and over ... and over again -walks and hikes. Going on a leisurely stroll... she will come along and enjoy. Going on an intense hike... she will come along and keep up without a problem. What could be better! -stuffed toys (if they have a squeaky inside, that is an extra bonus!) -treats-- she is anything but picky!
