Taylor Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin on 2/14/26! Taylor is currently in a foster home and needs a foster or adopter to secure his spot on the transport truck to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. Without a home commitment, he won't be able to make the trip north. Meet Taylor Taylor and his sister Ashlee were found dumped on the side of the road surviving on their own. They have now made it to a foster home and are doing much better.Taylor is a sweet and gentle little boy, likely a Lab mix, around 6-7 weeks old and weighs about 10 lbs. Taylor was initially shy and skittish when he was found, but with patience and love, he has warmed up and is showing his affectionate, playful side. He is learning about the world and will thrive with a foster or adopter who can help him gain confidence, socialize, and learn basic puppy skills like potty training and crate training. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
