Meet Orchid (A290029) Not long ago, Orchid had a home. Now, through no fault of her own, she finds herself sitting at Pinal County Animal Care & Control, waiting and hoping someone will give her a second chance at forever. Since arriving at the shelter in April, Orchid has been wondering why the people she loved are no longer by her side. What she wants most isn't a kennel-it's a family that will love her through life's ups and downs and never give up on her. At around 50 pounds, Orchid is the perfect fun-sized shepherd mix with a heart as beautiful as her name. She is around 4-6 yrs old. She walks beautifully on leash, has incredible recall, and is smart, attentive, and eager to learn. Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, an adventure partner, or a cuddle companion, Orchid is ready for it all. The best part? Once she steps into a home environment, she absolutely blossoms. She's calm, quiet, affectionate, and loves being close to her people.
