Socks is being temporarily fostered because of unforeseen family issues. She's very affectionate and loves being close to her humans. I've been fostering Socks and her sister for 5 months. However, she's too young for me and needs the energy of a young family or younger caretaker. She's healthy, active, good on a leash, uses a doggie door, follows simple commands; sit, stay, down, treats, go for a walk/ride etc. She's very smart and curious and could easily learn new skills with training. Spayed, and current on shots. 4 yrs old, approx 40 lbs. Food/treat motivated. She's always lived with her sister, Rexee, however, I think they would be just fine if separated. Socks is more demanding of attention than Rexee. Socks is so excited when her favorite human comes home from work and she'll stay close to let you know she's there if you need her. She has not been around kids but gets along fine with a teen boy who walks her 5 days a week. She's been around older adults her entire life, so she hasn't learned to 'play'. She loves when my adult son comes to visit and rough houses with her. Socks needs a safe, loving family who will shower her with kisses and treats!
