Frankie is currently in Arkansas and needs a foster or adopter to secure his spot on the transport truck to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on 2/14/26. Without a home commitment, he won't be able to make the trip north. Meet Frankie Frankie is a super sweet and beautiful 1.5-year-old boy with a gentle heart. He was part of a severe animal neglect and hoarding situation in Arkansas, where over 20 dogs and cats were seized. Frankie is one of the last dogs still there, and we are working hard to help him escape and find the loving home he deserves. Frankie is friendly with dogs and cats and is likely good with kids, making him a versatile and loving companion. He is affectionate, calm, and ready to meet his people and show his sweet Personality. He deserves a safe, stable, and loving environment where he can finally relax and enjoy life. Currently around 65 pounds, Frankie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to begin the next chapter of his life. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
