omer's past is a bit of a mystery, and even his age is uncertain-but what is clear is the kind of dog he is today. Homer is an adult male who was recently neutered and is ready for a new chapter with the right person. He is housebroken and truly enjoys going for walks, where he does very well on leash. At first, Homer can seem a little reserved as he takes time to feel safe, but with calm, patient people, he warms up quickly and forms strong bonds. Once he does, he's affectionate, playful, and loves nothing more than relaxing and cuddling on the couch. Homer does have some resource-guarding behaviors, including guarding attention, so he needs to be the only pet in the home. He is currently living with a calm female dog, but the situation is not working for him, making it especially important that he find a new home soon. Homer would thrive with a patient adopter who understands the Great Pyrenees breed and is willing to help him continue building confidence and security. With the right guidance and love, he has so much potential to blossom into the wonderful companion he's meant to be.
