About Peapod

I need your help to save my life. I am not a stray, was left at the shelter by my human, no fault of mine, am a good doggie, but that means when the shelter gets overcrowded, which happens OFTEN, I will be on the top of the list to be gotten rid of, end my life, MY LIFE, end. Don't let that happen, please. I am only 3 years old, am on the smaller side, won't take up much room. The volunteers think I am pretty, which I am (not the time to be modest when so much hangs on the line), also gentle. I am learning some commands, getting the hang of them, but need a bit more practice. The volunteers say I am wonderful walking on a leash. I am a little shy, and kind of scared in here, but much less than before. I like it very much when the volunteers give me treats and when they gently stroke me. Even met some doggies on a leash and interested in them, but need to go slow, for now. Please, come and see me. Maybe we can go home together, and you can gently stroke me, we can snuggle, give me treats, go for walks, play, be there for each other, forever. I need that to be saved, but most of all, want to love, and be loved. With you, I won't have to be afraid anymore. Come.
