About Amber

This is Amber, a nearly 6-month old Australian Heeler / Corgi mix. She has been with us 2 months. We are her 2nd home. Sadly, we are not suited to be her forever home. Amber is loving, smart and playful, with beautiful markings. Enthusiastic and eager to please, she is highly food-motivated and learns quickly. But sweet Amber is fearful of unknown people and dogs. She barks and cowers, although she does not respond aggressively. We are an older couple (75 & 87), unable to offer the active training and playful attention that will support Amber to be all she can be. She's received all her first-year shots including Rabies vaccination. She is comfortable using a doggie door and doesn't object to a leash. Amber will probably do best in an environment where she can be actively engaged and devoted to her human(s).
