About Poki

Poki has a lot of energy and high herding drive. She does not get along with other female dogs and small children. She is good with cats. Poki has resource guarding issues. She has tried to herd humans, jumping on them and nipping/hitting at legs. She chases runners, people walking or on bicycles if she gets off leash. She would be best as an only dog with a high energy family. She loves hiking and fetch. Poki is obedience trained and also does some basic agility and other tricks. She is really good at fetch and 'find it.' She knows sit, stay (not her best) lay down, spin, through, go under, go through, go over/on, jump, release and touch. She crates in the truck (interior) and for sleeping. She goes to the boarder when we are not home with no issues. We love Poki very much, but unfortunately, we have another special needs dog, and elders we care for and she is a danger to them. This has resulted in her only getting limited attention daily, and having to be in her run or by herself outside when not supervised. We want her to have her best life and simply do not have the resources to do so. We are in the Sacramento area.
