About MAX

Courtesy Posting: HELP!!! X URGENT- Riverside County Shelter, Jurupa Valley location So Cal - ID #A1894416 'MAX'- SUPER SWEET YOUNGER, PEOPLE AND DOG FRIENDLY, VERY HANDSOME BOY LISTED AS AN GERMAN SHEPHERD, but likely mixed AT GREAT RISK IN HIGH KILL SHELTER since 1/6. AVAILABLE TO ADOPT, BUT SHELTER IS OVERFULL and EUTHANIZING YOUNG ADOPTABLE DOGS AND GIVES LITTLE TIME. WE ARE THEREFORE ALSO DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND RESCUE TO SAVE HIS LIFE. RESCUES NEED FOSTERS TO HELP! DEAR MAX was found as a stray and his owner sadly never showed. He has been kenneled with two other unrelated strays who came in later, Gordy and Howie, all who do well together, are dog and people friendly, and have no reported issues at this time. They dogs do not need to be adopted together, although if you could, even better. We have separate posts up for the others with links also below. Max is said to be only 2 years old, 61 lbs. His kennelmates, Howie and Gordy are said to be 4 years young and weigh 52 and 56 lbs respectively. We have nice videos of these dogs we will be posting on facebook. If you are interested just to foster, or foster to adopt, or if you need further help, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network asap as we are trying to find fosters we can then refer to a rescue group to save him in time. There is also a chance he could be fostered through the shelter if you are local, or we could pair you with a rescue group to assist with this as a foster if you are further away (but not too far from a willing rescue).
