He loves human companionship and has historically been very bonded and affectionate toward the other male Great Dane in the home, making the recent behavior change especially difficult for his family. Since the move and environmental transition, Theo has begun displaying male-to-male dominance behaviors, resulting in a few scuffles. During one incident, a toddler was accidentally injured while being too close when the fight broke out, prompting the family to make the heartbreaking - but responsible - decision to find Theo a safer living situation. Theo needs to be neutered, which may significantly help with hormone-driven behaviors. He would thrive in a home that can provide structure, leadership, stability, and continued training.
