Lewey and Buddy dumped at the HIGH kill shelter. we honestly don't know if they came in together or if they came in separately but we do know they find comfort in each other. As with most Shelter animals, we don't know much about their past life, but we do know that they love each other now and we don't want to rip them apart. People can be fickle. They can have a change of heart for many reasons ; new relationship, decide they need to be free, too much responsibility, no patience, just plain selfishness, or they may have run into tough times but we do know dogs are not fickle. Once they love you, they love you forever�'�|..They are loyal to the end and that's the way these two are with each other so we wanna give it one last try before we try to find them each a separate forever home. We know they can't hang out there forever just waiting, but it would be truly heartbreaking to split them up and see the devastation in their eyes. To take from them the very last thing they have, each other. So let me tell you about Lewey and Buddy and let's see if the village can go to the work and find them a forever home together. Currently they both are in the same foster home in South Carolina - Videos are available and both can be seen via video chat & a Meet can be arranged for qualified local adopt offers. Transport is available. Lewey is a precious boy who is very sweet and affectionate. He is just 9lbs, approx. 4yo, neutered, fully vetted, good on-leash, crate-trained & full of love! Likely a Terrier/Chi mix - he's a great pup! Bud is a special boy! He is a Beagle mix, approx. 4yo, 45lbs. Walks well on-leash & crate-trained. Very sweet & affectionate! Will be neutered prior to placement - fully vetted, all shots & preventatives. He's a playful boy - who'd really love to meet you!
