About Australian Shepherd

I have an 11mo old male red tri Australian Shepherd. Neutered. Fully vaccinated. Extremely well trained. Downsides: unsocialized (been working extensively on socializing him), and has resource guarding issues. Does not do well with large dogs (dogs bigger than him) or small children. Small dogs are ok, and older children 13+yrs. I am looking for an experienced owner who has time to give this dog what he needs. He needs lots of exercise or a very specific job. He is incredibly smart, knows all basic commands, is leash trained and potty trained. He would have to meet you a few times prior to adoption, as I said he was not socialized as a very small dog and has some fear of people initially. We have spent months trying to fix some of the issues and have made progress, but he is no longer able to be trusted around my babies. I need help, please share.
