Name: Brida Age: 1 year old Breed: Plott Hound Mix, 20 pounds Sex: Female (spayed) Location: Knoxville, Tennessee As a puppy, Brida was found in the woods. Owner can no longer care for her. Vet Info: Owner unable to find medical records but Brida was vaccinated as a puppy and spayed. Cause of blindness is unknown. She is no longer current with vaccinations, nor does she have a current heartworm test. Owner states she is healthy. Brida is not microchipped. Dog Info: Brida was found as a puppy, abandoned in the woods and full of worms. Brida was treated and given to current owner who had her spayed at some point. Brida is an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. She is housebroken and leash trained. She doesn't know any commands but will come to you when you call her. She is nervous and shy but she is good with men, women, teens and female dogs. Brida has not been exposed to younger children, male dogs or cats but owner does not feel that she would have issues with any of them. Brida currently lives with two chihuahua's and some chickens. She has shown no signs of aggression and is not possessive of treats, toys or food. Although it is believed that Brida is completely blind, owner feels she may detect light. Owner states that she is very healthy and happy and a very sweet and snuggly girl. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
