About Lady Kluck

Here is some information about me: I'm a great bunny for calm households. I don't like: loud noises, to be held, to be picked up, I am: nervous, shy, I like: to explore, 'These pictures kinda stink.'�'�| yeah, they do. But this is who she is currently. She lived thru one of the worst abuse cases we have ever seen. She likely saw her friend rabbits whom she lived with, get shot with crossbows by a human. Not only did she survive, she survived while pregnant and simultaneously nursing a litter. She is a silent survivor, and a hero in our eyes. Lady Kluck is a quiet, gentle rabbit who is ready to find her forever home after raising many babies. She gave birth to at least 8 rabbits outdoors without accommodations and human support. After being rescued by RARR, welcomed eight more. Now that all of her babies are grown, Lady Kluck is finally ready to focus on herself. She is still learning to trust humans and can be skittish, so Lady Kluck would do best in a calm, adult-only home without other animals. She will need a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. Once she feels safe, Lady Kluck enjoys gentle head scratches and tasty treats. With consistency, kindness, and patience, she will slowly show her sweet personality and form a meaningful bond with her person. Lady Kluck may take time to warm up, but for someone willing to go at her pace, she will be a truly rewarding companion.
