Caine is almost 7 years old and weighs 75lbs. He is a red Staffy and Japanese Terrier mix with a white blaze on his chest. He is a very healthy and beautiful boy. He has been my service/support animal for almost 3 years. I have terminal cancer and fall easily. I use him to get myself back up. Caine is attuned to my needs. He refuses to eat until I eat. He alerts me to medical issues prior to them happening. He grumbles at me until I rest when I'm tired. He even gives my bed turn down service every night, including the placement of a piece of wrapped candy or dog treat on the center. Caine loves to sleep in the bed with you and cuddle. He is addicted to air conditioning. He loves walks and running and rolling around in a hayfield. He sees it his mission in life to annihilate all squeakers in his toys. He only chews his antlers or other chew toys, never shoes. His absolute favorite treat is duck jerky. He enjoys having his jerky as an appetizer prior to his meals. Riding in cars either shotgun or hanging his head out the window to bark at motorcycles is his favorite past time. Caine does not get along with other animals due to being in a shelter for 736 days. He absolutely loves people but is too energetic to be around children. He could overcome this with proper training. He would be the perfect companion for a single person or a couple. I reside in an apartment complex and his dog aggression has become a problem. My neighbors do not like his breed mistakenly calling him a pitbull. As my cancer progresses, I am not able to properly restrain him. If I cannot rehome my boy then I may lose my housing. I do not want to surrender this extremely intelligent and loving dog back to the shelter I adopted him from.
