Charlie is 17 years old and has been a wonderful companion his entire life. Despite his age, he has no known health issues and gets around well for a senior dog. He has a calm, gentle personality and is very well-mannered. He does great with adults and children and is friendly with female dogs. He's a good, loyal dog who enjoys companionship and a peaceful environment. Unfortunately my new position will require me to travel more and I won't be able to give Charlie what he deserves in his older years. This has not been an easy decision for me. Once Charlie turned 15 he no longer did well in doggie daycare and required someone to come to the house twice a day when I left town but now it's going to be weekly and gone for up to two weeks at a time. I feel it's not fair to Charlie and want to find a home that will be there for him.
