About Laika

Meet Laika Laika is a 9-year-old Shepherd currently being fostered in Old Brookville, NY. She escaped euthanasia at a Texas shelter and has been patiently waiting far too long for the forever home she deserves. Laika is fantastic with people and absolutely amazing with kids. She is also wonderful with puppies, likely thanks to her strong motherly instincts. Laika would do best in a home with a male dog who is non-dominant.
