About Ember

Ember is a sweet border collie with the most loyal heart. She's a total velcro dog who'll follow her foster everywhere and just wants to be by your side. She loves her daily walks and car rides, meeting new people and at night she settles down quietly in her bed (or yours if you let her!). What makes Ember special is that she's not your typical high-energy border collie. She's got a calmer, gentler vibe while still being an active, happy girl. She's just learning what toys are and how to play with them, which is pretty adorable to watch. She walks beautifully on leash and gets along well with other dogs and has little to no prey drive. Ember would do best with someone who has border collie experience or is really dog-savvy, since she'll need an owner who understands how much these dogs love their people. She does have heartworms and will be going through treatment.
