KEKE is an 18-month-old 10 pound puppy who was surrendered to a shelter after being found as a stray. We think she is an Affenpinscher and we know she is absolutely adorable! KEKE is a sweet little girl who may be a bit skittish at first but warms up quickly and loves everyone. Once she's comfortable, she happily follows her person around and enjoys being held and petted. She would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. She may bark briefly when her person leaves, but it doesn't last long as long as she has a doggy companion home with her. KEKE gets along well with other dogs and sometimes plays with one of her small foster siblings. Because she learns so much from watching them and enjoys their company, KEKE would do best in a home with another small dog. She has some playful energy and enjoys being part of the group. She's food motivated (and eats fast!), so she's currently fed separately from the other dogs. She isn't very interested in toys yet. KEKE is still working on potty training and does best when taken outside every few hours. She's improving and has recently been using pee pads more consistently. She does not use a doggy door yet and prefers her person to take her outside. She is not leash trained. At night KEKE sleeps curled up in the bed with her foster family. She is a loving little girl looking for a patient home that will help her continue learning and building confidence. KEKE is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
