Reggie is an absolute love bug - sweet, affectionate, and eager to please. She takes very well to training, is highly food motivated, and loves learning. She's kennel trained (and genuinely enjoys her crate), does great with nail trims and baths, and will even let you brush her teeth. She's also good with cats. Unfortunately, Reggie and our older female dog have not been able to peacefully coexist in the home, and despite careful management, the tension has continued. Because of this, we believe Reggie would do best as the only dog in the household, where she can relax and truly shine. She is generally good with other dogs - this is specifically a cohabitation issue. Reggie will come with all her necessary supplies. Our priority is finding her a safe, loving home where she can thrive long-term. This decision was made out of care for everyone involved, and we want nothing more than to see her succeed. Reggie is up-to-date on all her shots, microchipped, and on simpaicatrio. She has had no medical issues. She is nine months old and weighs 55ish pounds. She doesn't have any behavioral issues minus this thing with our older female dog. We have already been working with a trainer and have seen no improvement without extreme management and feel that it is unfair for both dogs to keep them living like that. Sadly I did not know that this could be an issue before getting her. She is a AmStaf mix of some kind. I am able to foster her until March.
