We are located in North Georgia and have a 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Shepard mix. She was adopted from a local rescue program when she was 8 weeks old. That has since been closed so we cannot surrender her there and local Rhodesian Ridgeback rescues won't accept her because she is not full blooded. While she is the sweetest thing, we are relocating and our work has changed to travel. My husband and I are gone 10-12 hours per day. This is not a good lifestyle for her, nor healthy for her. Her temperament is great, does well with other dogs, LOVES children, and cuddles/sleeps in the bed if you allow her. Again, she is the sweetest dog, but we cannot continue to allow her to not have an accommodating lifestyle.
