About Layla

Description: My name is Layla. I am a female, tan and white Mixed Breed mix. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 21, 2026. Layla is a sweet, polite girl with great manners. She previously lived with 2 cats and loved them! While she didn't live with other dogs in that home, our play group coordinator has described her as social, playful and interactive with other dogs in play groups. She is house trained, crate trained, and knows sit and shake. She likes treats and takes them gently from your hand. Layla is very loving and kind, loves attention and will greet visitors with kisses. She is playful, likes squeaky toys and rope toys, and loves to lay in the sun. The groomer says she is excellent in the bath, loading herself into the tub and enjoying the bathing process. She is 6 years old and weighs 85 pounds, is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. Come meet Layla at Citrus County Animal Services.
