This is Tairn. He is a 1 year old male husky mix. We got him from a foster family who found him as a stray and kept him for about three months while seeking an owner. However, he seemed to have been on the streets for a while. He did well with the foster family and their two dogs and older children, however with his strong prey drive he isn't a good fit for our family with cats. He needs a lot of training which we have been working with him on and would do well with an experienced owner who can give him the time and attention he needs to be exercised and trained. We have had two separate wellness checks for him and his vaccinations. We were planning on getting him neutered but with the situation regarding our cats we need him rehomed ASAP. He's healthy and has a lot of puppy energy that needs outlets, but he's a very sweet boy and does well with adults and our older children, but is not a good fit for a family with small children and small animals. He seems to have some separation anxiety so it would be good to have someone who works from home or other dogs he can be with. We are open to rescue but would love to find him a forever home. We are located in the Sacramento area and asking a $150 rehoming fee. Please reach out with any questions.
