About Gage

Gage is a sweet, easygoing guy who's ready for a fresh start. He came to us as a stray, with a microchip. Unfortunately, that microchip traced back to an old owner. They'd rehomed him 2 years ago. The new owners didn't want him anymore, and had apparently dumped him. Gage hasn't let that dull his gentle spirit though! He's very well behaved, easy to leash up and take out, and he walks nicely on a leash without pulling. In the play yard, he's mostly calm and chill, taking things at his own pace. He has a lower energy level and seems happy to just enjoy the moment. Gage loves treats, and he'll happily sit on command for a snack or a toy. Speaking of toys - he's a big fan! He likes to check them all out and is perfectly content carrying one around in his mouth, chewing on it, or chasing it when you toss it. Squeaky toys and balls seem to be his favorites. He enjoys being pet and spending time with people, but he also has an independent side and is happy to amuse himself when needed. Gage would do well in a home that appreciates a relaxed, affectionate companion who can entertain himself just as easily as he can enjoy your company.
