Nelson is a calm, gentle soul who's still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. At 2 years old, he's discovering how to be brave - one step, one cuddle, and one treat at a time (which he takes ever so gently). He walks beautifully on a leash and has a quiet, easygoing nature that makes him a peaceful companion. While he may take a little time to open up to new people, once he trusts you, he simply wants to be loved and snuggled. Nelson would thrive in a patient, nurturing home where someone can help him build confidence and maybe even unlock his playful, silly side.
